Notah jumped off to a quick start at the 2008 AT&T National presented by Tiger Woods by making birdie on his first two holes and did not look back. On the demanding Congressional Country Club, site of the 1997 U.S. Open, Notah finished the first round at three under par and currently sits on the first page of the leaderboard.

Notah is back at Congressional Country Club for the second annual AT&T National presented by Tiger Woods. Notah finished T54 in the 2007 version of this event and is excited to be back to one of the most storied golf courses on the eastern seaboard. Having hosted major championships, Congressional will be a tough test of golf this week and the best players will certainly be in contention on Sunday.

Notah made his first cut of the year in his third PGA Tour event of 2008 by shooting rounds of 66-71-70-72 to finish T62 at the Travelers Championship. Notah will not play this week at the Buick Invitational but will be back in action next week at the AT&T National hosted by Tiger Woods at Congressional Country Club in Maryland.

Travelers Championship This Week
Notah is ready for his sixth appearance at the Travelers Championship this week at the TPC River Highlands golf course outside Hartford, Connecticut. WIth a 4-1 record against the cut and a lifetime 68.44 scoring average at this event, Notah remains excited for the week. Prep for Travelers Championship
Notah is back home in Dalls this week getting ready for next week's PGA Tour event, The Travelers Championship at the TPC RIver Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. Notah won this event in 2000 after making a dramatic 30-foot birdie putt on the last hole in regulation.

Stanford St. Jude Championship
Notah is back on familiar ground this week at the TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, home of the Stanford St. Jude Championship. The site of Notah's third PGA Tour victory in 2000, TPC Southwind will be a great test this week for the entire field. Woody Austin shot 62 in the best final round of the year in 2007 to win the event by five shots and is back to defend his title this year.

A final round 74 left Notah in a T24 at the Halliburton SW Classic this week. A short distance from Lawton, Oklahoma and the site of the first proposed Notah Begay III Signature golf course, Notah continues to make progress with his game and will be ready to play the PGA Tour event next week in Memphis, Tennessee at the Stanford St. Jude Classic.

A solid round of one under par moved Notah up seven spots on the leaderboard and has him T26 at the midway point at The Territory Golf Club in Duncan, Oklahoma. Excited about the progress in his game, Notah looks to continue his move up the leaderboard this weekend.

A windy day in Duncan, Oklahoma led to high scores throughout the field at the Halliburton SW Oklahoma Classic. During a day that saw gusts upwards of 35 mph, Notah managed to shoot 2 over par and stay within reach of the lead pack. Notah tees off at 8:30AM CST on Friday so be sure to check back to keep up with Notah this week.

Notah Excited to be in Oklahoma
After a couple of days at home in Dallas, Notah made the short drive to Duncan, Oklahoma for this week's Halliburton SW Oklahoma Classic at The Territory Golf Club. Not far from the future site of the first Notah Begay III Signature Golf Course that Notah is designing for the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma, Notah is ready and excited for another solid week.

A great round of golf in which Notah made sixteen pars and 2 birdies left him one shot shy of making the cut in his first PGA Tour event of the year this week at the AT&T Classic. "A little rusty, that's all it is", said Begay after the round. Notah heads to the Territory golf course in Duncan, Oklahoma this week and then is back on the PGA Tour in Memphis the first week of June.

A very "professional" round of golf that saw two birdies and no dropped shots left Notah in a tie for 16th place at this week's Capital One Classic. "I felt great", said Notah. "I was pain free all week and made some great strides with my game". Notah is off this week and back in action the week of May 12th in his home state of New Mexico.

In windy conditions in Louisiana, Notah opened the Capital One Classic with an even par score of 72. Notah tees off at 12:00PM in the second round and looks to put himself in a good position for the weekend. For the complete leaderboard, click here.

Notah's Summer Schedule Announced
Notah has decided to concentrate his summer golf schedule in the U.S. to give him the best chance to stay healthy throughout the 2008 season. Notah is scheduled to play about 8-10 Nationwide Tour and 8-10 PGA Tour events through the summer months. For Notah's most up to date playing schedule, click here.

Notah addressed a group of about 75 Native American students at Arizona State University during the American Indian Cultural week. Notah talked about his career both on and off the golf course and encouraged the students to take their college degrees and go back to their inividual communities to help them prosper.

In conjunction with the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Notah participated in the 2008 Seminole Rez Rally to raise awareness about the diabetes epidemic in Native America

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians
San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. On behalf of one of Notah’s primary sponsors (San Manuel Band of Mission Indians), Notah participated in the annual Toys for Tots Golf Event.

In conjunction with the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Notah interacted with approximately 30 students from the Sherman Indian High School. Notah gave a golf clinic and worked with each student on their golf swing providing valuable tips in addition to a variety of autographed items for the students to take home.

Notah delivered the keynote speech for an audience of 500 about diabetes prevention in Native America at the Annual Meeting of the National Indian Health Board.

Adam Beach Golf Classic, Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians
Alongside Native American actor Adam Beach, Notah participated in the Adam Beach Golf Classic and helped raise money for the Fond du Lac Native Veterans and the Adam Beach Endowment for the Native Arts.

San Manuel Indian Nation -- While preparing for next season's European Tour schedule, Notah Begay III took some time to tee off for the Toys For Tots program at the 1st Annual San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Marine Toys for Tots Foundation Golf Tournament. The 4-time PGA Tour winner pounded one drive after another as he teed-off with each group, helping them all to a good start to their rounds.
