Preview: Q-School Final Stage - Monday, November 26, 2007
WINTER GARDEN, FL - The Final Stage of the PGA TOUR Qualifying School gets underway this week at the Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, FL. One of the most grueling events in golf, the six round marathon begins on Wednesday, November 28th and play continues through Monday, December 3rd.
Notah Begay III is one of the players in this week's field that will be vying for one of the Top 25 spots and fully exempt status on the 2008 PGA TOUR. As a 4-time PGA TOUR winner, Notah already has "Past Champion" status on TOUR but a finish in the Top 25 this week will increase the number of PGA TOUR events he will be able to enter in 2008.
"If you find yourself at the Q-School Finals, you're either working your way up or trying to get back to the PGA TOUR. In this case I find myself trying to get full-time status on the PGA TOUR. I played a very solid second stage last week and after a restful Thanksgiving break I'm ready for the formidable task of gaining full-time PGA TOUR status via the Q-School. It's something that I've never achieved in my career and would give me some great momentum headed into next season."
Already exempt on the 2008 European Tour, Notah would be one of a handful players in the world who was exempt on both the U.S. and European Tour if he were to finish in the Top 25 (and ties) this week.

As some of you may know, I have a golf course design consulting firm called NB3 Consulting. I started NB3 Consulting in 2002 because I wanted to work with Native American tribes on golf course development projects. My goal, as always, is to bring the best team possible to the table and to keep the interests of the community first. We just launched the NB3 Consulting website,
www.nb3consulting.com and I encourage you to spend some time on it if you have the chance.
