Bogeys doom Notah in Portugal - Saturday, March 31, 2007

ESTORIL, Portugal -- Closing out his stay in Portugal after two consecutive events, Notah Begay III missed the cut at the Estoril Open de Portugal with a bogey-plagued 2nd round.

The 4-time U.S. PGA Tour winner could not overcome nine bogeys in his final round of the event and missed playing over the weekend.

On the flip side, Spain's Pablo Martin-Benavides became the first amateur to win on the European Tour International Schedule. However, due to his amateur status, the entire first-place check ($278,127.91) went to silver medalist Raphaël Jacquelin of France.

Be sure to check back with Notah.com to follow NB3 in his quest to earn a fifth Tour victory.

As some of you may know, I have a golf course design consulting firm called NB3 Consulting.  I started NB3 Consulting in 2002 because I wanted to work with Native American tribes on golf course development projects.  My goal, as always, is to bring the best team possible to the table and to keep the interests of the community first.  We just launched the NB3 Consulting website,
