Notah Inks Deal with Accusplit - Monday, April 24, 2006

In his continued effort to combat the further spread of diabetes through health and fitness, Notah Begay III has partnered with Accusplit, Inc., (www.accusplit.com) a California based company that manufacturers pedometers and recently signed an agreement to be the Official Pedometer of the PGA Tour.

In conjunction with Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 2003, Notah launched a program called "Walk With Notah" that encourages communities all over the country to walk with Notah as he walks the fairways of the PGA Tour. In his continued effort to spread the word that walking can be a great preventive measure against diabetes, Notah will wear an Accusplit pedometer during each competitive round of golf he plays and will post his results on www.notah.com.

"I will continue to challenge communities and especially today's Native youth to walk with me as I walk the fairways of the PGA Tour. An activity as simple as walking everyday can have a great impact on our Native American communities and together we can prevent the future spread of diabetes."

As some of you may know, I have a golf course design consulting firm called NB3 Consulting.  I started NB3 Consulting in 2002 because I wanted to work with Native American tribes on golf course development projects.  My goal, as always, is to bring the best team possible to the table and to keep the interests of the community first.  We just launched the NB3 Consulting website,
www.nb3consulting.com and I encourage you to spend some time on it if you have the chance. NB3
