U.S. PGA TOUR Q-School Begins - Monday, November 12, 2007

MCKINNEY, TX - Notah Begay III is scheduled to compete in the 2nd stage of the PGA TOUR Qualifying School this week at the TPC Craig Ranch golf course in McKinney, Texas. Although the 4-time PGA TOUR winner is already exempt on the 2008 European Tour, he has decided to try to become fully exempt on both major tours. With his game steadily improving after having the chance to work with instructor Eddie Lee (Wailea Golf Club), Notah is excited about the opportunity to become one of the few players in the game that is exempt on both the European and U.S. Tours. However, he has a good appreciation of how grueling Q-school can be. "The Q-school is a long and grueling process. The rounds take 5 or more hours which makes patience a vital asset. I've been working very hard on all aspects of my game and this week's event will be a nice test. I'm looking forward to it." Notah tees off at 8:30AM CST on Wednesday, November 14th at TPC Craig Ranch with Duffy Waldorf and Hunter Haas. Be sure to check back with www.notah.com for daily recaps of Notah's rounds.
As some of you may know, I have a golf course design consulting firm called NB3 Consulting.  I started NB3 Consulting in 2002 because I wanted to work with Native American tribes on golf course development projects.  My goal, as always, is to bring the best team possible to the table and to keep the interests of the community first.  We just launched the NB3 Consulting website,
www.nb3consulting.com and I encourage you to spend some time on it if you have the chance. NB3
