Solid Start for Begay - Thursday, November 15, 2007
MCKINNEY, TX - A tough day with winds around the 20 mph mark greeted the players competing in the 2nd Stage of the PGA TOUR Qualifying School at TPC Craig Ranch on Wednesday. Notah Begay III opened with a steady round of one over par that leaves him T35 after the first day of competition.
"It was tough out there," said Begay after his round. "I played some solid golf given the conditions and will be ready to battle it out again tomorrow if the winds persist."
Begay tees off at 9:40AM CST for the second round with Duffy Waldorf and Hunter Haas.

As some of you may know, I have a golf course design consulting firm called NB3 Consulting. I started NB3 Consulting in 2002 because I wanted to work with Native American tribes on golf course development projects. My goal, as always, is to bring the best team possible to the table and to keep the interests of the community first. We just launched the NB3 Consulting website,
www.nb3consulting.com and I encourage you to spend some time on it if you have the chance.
