Notah finishes in 69th at Abu Dhabi - Sunday, January 21, 2007

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates -- All in all, it was a good start to the 2007 season for Notah Begay III. He finished his first European Tour event of the year with a made cut and a tie for 69th place at the Abu Dhabi Championship. "Well, if the Abu Dhabi Championship is a harbinger of things to come then 2007, it will be an improvement on last year," Notah said. "It was great to get four competitive rounds in to start off the year because it gives you a clear indication on the state of your game." Notah posted rounds of 72, 71, 74 and 71 at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club, his first event of the season. "I wasted quite a few shots, but my past performances will indicate that my best golf is played in the last half of the year," Notah said. "Now, that doesn't mean that I hold off until summer before I turn it loose, but it usually takes me a few tournaments to get my timing and equipment correct. The best thing of all is that I feel good and my attitude is positive. I can't wait for the Dubai Classic." As some of you may know, I have a golf course design consulting firm called NB3 Consulting.  I started NB3 Consulting in 2002 because I wanted to work with Native American tribes on golf course development projects.  My goal, as always, is to bring the best team possible to the table and to keep the interests of the community first.  We just launched the NB3 Consulting website,
