The Notah Begay III Foundation

What is it?

The Notah Begay III Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was started by Notah Begay III and his father in 2005. The mission of the Foundation is to deliver youth sports programs in Native American communities in the form of golf and soccer programs.

Golf Program

The Notah Begay III Foundation has partnered with the Tohajiilee High School, a Navajo Nation community, to deliver sound golf curriculum to its participants. Since its inception, the program has seen considerable improvement in both participation and performance. The foundation remains true to the games spirit by implementing sportsmanship, integrity, and respect as it's guidelines.

Soccer Program

The Soccer Program has been a huge success in getting the kids of the San Felipe Pueblo active and has grown to include approximately 150 Native American youth that participate on one of 16 different teams for a 10 game season in either the spring or the fall.

The goal of Notah's Foundation is to create sustainable programs that are designed by Native Americans for Native American youth. Our hope is that these programs are running strong for generations to come.

After a long-standing relationship with Nike, I have signed a new endorsement opportunity with Callaway Golf.  Although the relationship is still new, I am thrilled about the opportunity.  The products are amazing and I already have the FT-5 Driver, X-Fairway woods, prototype Callaway irons, Callaway X-wedges, and the Callaway Tour iX ball in play.    The reception
of the entire Callaway staff has been incredible and the dedication of the company to making me a better golfer is obvious.  Needless to say, I am really excited for the 2008 season.    NB3
